Abe Farag Family Foundation is happy to announce its support of the Pacific Pinball Museum, a non-profit showcase of 20th Century American amusements based in Alameda, CA. Housing roughly 100 playable pinball machines, some of which date back as far as the 1930's, the museum preserves a fascinating and important part of recent American culture that is rapidly fading from most of our memories.
Currently as of this writing the Museum is exhibiting work from over 20 Bay Area artists who were asked to create pinball-machine style art in their own style and artistic vernacular. This exhibit runs through the end of July.
PPM provides a great atmosphere for family fun, and an excuse to learn about our shared cultural history at the same time. We love the museum, and we highly suggest that you pay them a visit.
