Inner Sunset Sundays

About the Organization

Inner Sunset Sundays began in 2010 as a gathering of neighbors who felt the community needed a place in the heart of the neighborhood to gather and meet. Since then it has become more of a block party than a street fair. The goal isn’t for people to just buy something and leave, but to stick around, meet each other, and participate.

By creating a space for community involvement, the Inner Sunset neighborhood as drawn together to support ISS. Neighborhood members create unique events like making cardboard armor, giant tetherball, and hands-on science experiments.
The neighborhood has a wealth of ideas to share. Past events involved unique activities like a neighborhood Flea Market, a giant White Elephant gift swap, and many music/dance performances.
